This new product line aims to set new industry standards, building upon Terran Orbital’s decade-long legacy in pioneering CubeSat standards.
A New Era in Satellite Technology
“With this announcement, we are again setting the bar high with an industry-leading product line,” said Marc Bell, Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Terran Orbital. The seven new bus platforms span the nano, micro, mini, and small classes, offering a comprehensive range of options for various mission requirements.
Meeting Diverse Needs
The new lineup is designed to meet the needs of a broad spectrum of customers, from the Department of Defense to commercial enterprises. The Enterprise, the largest in the lineup, is optimized for communications and RF payloads, allowing up to 24 vehicles per launch. On the other end of the spectrum, the Triumph is the smallest platform, designed for agility and cost-effectiveness.
The Ambassador is expected to be the top offering for the DoD and Intelligence community, featuring the largest deck allowable by the ESPA-Grande standard and optional Type 1 encryption. The Nebula, a commercialized version of the bus recently launched in partnership with Lockheed Martin, offers an open deck plan to accommodate various payload shapes.
Flexibility and Scalability
These platforms feature a flexible architecture that allows for wet launch masses ranging from 14 to 1000 kg. They are built on designs with extensive flight heritage, serving various civil, defense, and commercial customers. “These standard platforms bring forth our vision to meet mission requirements at scale, drive down the cost of the satellite, and increase their functionality,” added Marc Bell.
